CYNDAR light curtains can be customized for individual applications and are very flexible in deployment. The following specifications should be considered to ensure functionality.
Detection area-The light curtain can be perpendicular, parallel or diagonal to the operator's approach angle, but it must be placed in such a position that once it passes through it, it will stop the machine before the operator is in danger.
Through-beam distance-the functional distance between the transmitter and the receiver when the distance reduced due to the mirror is taken into account.
Protection height-the vertical size of the CYNDAR light curtain sensing area. This measurement helps the number of beams in a particular array, which affects the sensitivity of the light curtain. Generally speaking, the lowest infrared beam should be no higher than 30 cm above the ground, and the highest beam should be no lower than 90 cm from the ground to prevent evasion around the light curtain.
